Empire Forced Air Heat Management System (HMFA)
Gas fires keep you snug during the chilly weather, but when it starts to get warm, you might feel quite the opposite.
Your fireplace's excessive warmth won't help you feel comfortable at all if you don't have a way to regulate the heat.
The Empire Forced Air Heat Management System (HMFA) lessens the heat output of your Boulevard Fireplace by exhausting some of it outside your home. Stay comfy whether the weather's freezing or just chilly! Just turn the knob to adjust the speed-controlled blower for the right amount of warmth.
To properly install the HMFA, it must be attached to an exterior wall that is at least 4" thick and not more than 12.5" thick. The Heat Transfer Kit and Flex Vent Kit are required for installing it.
Be in control of the temperature and extend cozy fireside moments throughout the warmer seasons. Order today and take advantage of our free shipping offer!

Recommendations
Since the HMFA System removes air indoors, this must be replaced with "make-up air" to prevent negative pressure from building up. Your central heating system or furnace may include a make-up air damper. For those that do not, a make-up air damper that replaces 150 CFM of air must be installed. It is ideally located at the opposite end of the building.
The minimum clearance between the fireplace and exterior wall is 4 ft.
