Empire 18" Birch Ceramic Fiber Log Set
Empire manufactures log sets and burners to suit any application in sizes ranging from 16 inches to 30 inches, in Natural Gas and LP.
Empire offer both ceramic fiber and traditional refractory concrete logs. Each log is hand-painted to bring out the rich detail.
Empire Vent-Free Burners are approved for use in any certified vent-free firebox. They may be also installed in an existing wood-burning fireplace, with the damper closed, to operate as a vent-free heating system.
A vent-free Millivolt Loft Burner may also be installed as a decorative appliance in a vented fireplace to provide ambiance and light – but without the heat. In a vented installation, the burner cannot be operated by thermostat, and the flue damper must be blocked open. A damper clamp is included with all Loft burners.
Traditional Vent-Free Log Sets
From the curve of each log to the height of the stack, your Empire complements the burner pattern for a lifelike fire. Complete the illusion with one of our optional Ember Bed Kits and Platinum Glowing Embers.
Your Empire Vent-Free log set creates a consistent, controlled heat – without dangerous flare-ups or chilling die-downs. These gas logs warm your room quickly and efficiently while using about half the energy of a vented gas log.
Vented Slope Glaze Burners
A vented gas log set makes a great alternative to the hassle of building a log fire in your wood-burning fireplace. Just like a wood fire, a vented gas log set provides plenty of mesmerizing flames and flickering light. Vented log sets are considered decorative systems and must be installed in a vented fireplace with the damper open and may not operate by thermostat.
Empire offer two types of Vented Gas Log Systems. Empire Vented Slope Glaze Burners are rated at up to 75,000 Btu to create taller flames. Millivolt Vented Burners may be operated with an on/off remote control or wall switch.
The top of the Slope Glaze burner features precision ports that position the flames to complement the log set. Inside the burner, the gas flows through a bed of precisely sized ceramic pellets that tumble and swirl the gas as it mixes with the air. The result is a cleaner burning fire with natural flame movement – a great choice for LP gas installations.
Vent-Free Slope Glaze Burners
Empire popular Slope Glaze Burners raise the standard for dancing flames. Internal ceramic beads tumble the gas to create an exceptionally realistic flame movement.
